Joint Venture between Flex Commodities & GAC Investment CC)

FLEX Commodities has launched its first physical bunker supply operation in Walvis Bay, Namibia, marking a key milestone in the company’s West Africa growth strategy. In partnership with GAC Investment CC, FLEX–GAC Namibia combines international trading and operational expertise with strong local port engagement and full regulatory compliance, offering shipowners a reliable alternative on the South Atlantic corridor.

From Walvis Bay offshore and anchorage, FLEX supplies ISO 8217:2010/2017-compliant VLSFO (RMG 380) and LSMGO (DMA 0.1%), supported by clear operational terms, no extra charges for offshore supply, and a fixed all‑inclusive fee for anchorage deliveries. The high-spec bunker barge SPLENDOUR OPAL (IMO 9341366), SIRE approved with CAP 1 rating, underpins the operation with strong pumping rates and first-class P&I and charterers’ liability cover.

Bunkering is conducted in daylight hours with straightforward notice requirements and DMA permits for offshore operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and predictable service for vessels calling Walvis Bay. Contact our desk for enquiries : wafsupply@flexcommodities.com
